Our Services
Collaborative Instructional Planning
Effective instruction begins with intentional, standards-aligned planning.
Wells Education Consulting supports teams in identifying essential standards and unpacking them into clear learning targets, success criteria, and aligned assessments.
We help educators:
- Build coherent lesson sequences that increase cognitive rigor
- Establish shared evaluation criteria and grading practices
- Align instruction, assessment, and intervention
This work ensures teachers have a common understanding of what students must learn, how mastery is defined, and how to respond to evidence of learning.
Student-Centered Learning
Student learning improves when expectations are clear and instruction is aligned to meaningful outcomes.
We support educators in translating standards into daily practice by strengthening:
- Learning intentions and success criteria
- Instructional strategies that promote engagement and thinking
- Structures that build student ownership
Teachers learn to make expectations visible, monitor learning in real time, and adjust instruction based on evidence.
The result is classrooms where students understand what they are learning, why it matters, and how success is measured.
Coaching & Professional Growth
Sustainable improvement happens when professional learning is embedded in daily practice.
Our coaching model supports educators and leaders through:
- Observation and feedback
- Reflection and collaborative problem-solving
- Application of instructional frameworks
We focus on strengthening instructional clarity, aligning assessment to standards, and using student evidence to guide next steps.
This builds lasting professional capacity and leads to stronger, more consistent outcomes for students.
